Stephen Kramer Avitabile
Stephen Kramer Avitabile is a New-England-born, Los-Angeles-based writer. He writes short stories, novellas, novels, screenplays, and he even dabbled in stand-up. He's had his work appear in publications like Adelaide Literary Magazine, Boudin Literary Magazine, Cosmic Crime Stories, Sci Phi Journal, Helix Literary Magazine, and Spadina Literary Review, among others. His script "A Tale of Two Tales" won Best Feature Script at the New York Tri-State International Film Festival.
His writing often features the strange, the fantastical, the dark, and it finds humor in all. Can a laugh be found in every inch of the world and in every second of our existence? Of course. His stories and scripts question what we know and what we find inevitable, and they like to knock down what he calls "The Fifth Wall." He has had many stories published across dozens of publications.
